Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor Archaeological Park which attracts tourist from worldwide. Angkor Archaeological Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1992. It covers a vast area of 400 square kilometres and contains the remains of several ancient capitals of the Khmer Empire from 9th to 15th century.
I travelled to Cambodia back in 2007 and it was quite memorable because it is the first time that I travelled with my beau. I visited both Phnom Penh city which is the capital of Cambodia and Siem Reap where the site of Angkor Wat is.
