Bryce Canyon National Park is the most popular park in the state of Utah. Bryce Canyon is famous for its colourful limestone rock carved by the rainwater and ice into bizarre shapes called “hoodoos”. Approximately 200 days a year, ice and snow melt during the day and refreeze at night. When the water freezes, it expands and pushes the rocks apart creating the different hoodoos and windows.

The Antelope Canyon is located at the Navajo Tribal Park near Lake Powell in the State of Utah. It has two sections: the Upper Antelope Canyon / The Crack and the Lower Antelope Canyon / The Corkscrew. Most people usually go to the Upper Antelope Canyon as it requires no climbing. The more adventurous ones can opt to climb down to the Lower Antelope Canyon which is less crowded. You’ll need to climb down a stairway leading to the lower section and the path down there is narrower and longer.

The Grand Canyon located entirely in northern Arizona, is one of United State's most famous landmarks and stretches an incredible 322km. The Grand Canyon is cut through by the Colorado River and the exposed rock layers have been preserved almost perfectly like they were layers of cake.

The national park is itself divided into two main areas: the remote North Rim and the more accessible South Rim. In addition, there are two Indian reservations: the Havasupai Indian Reservation and the Hualapai Indian Reservation (also known as Grand Canyon West).

Welcome to the concrete jungle of Manila city. Manila is the capital city of Philippines and is the most densely populated city in the world. I'm anticipating traffic jams and places packed with people. Anyhow, I should explore the city.

PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES - Part 3 : Travel Recommendation

At this point of writing, there are no direct flights from Boracay to Puerto Princesa. Hope there will be in the future.

Anyway, I took the flight from Caticlan - Cebu - Puerto Princesa. The flight from Caticlan to Mactan-Cebu International Airport took an hour.

Cebu is also a popular tourist destination, famous for its beautiful beaches and historical sites. Well, I didn't have enough time to slot this place in my itinerary. Maybe next time.

It is just a 30 minutes ride from Puerto Princesa City and people often come here to relax and unwind when visiting Palawan Island.

Island hopping and taking a trip round the Boracay island is a popular day trip activity. My first stop is Crystal Cove Island which is located North of Boracay Island. I also visited Puka Beach which is in my opinion, the best beach in Boracay.

BORACAY, PHILIPPINES – Part 1

Just came back from Philippines late September. First stop in Philippines, Boracay Island.

Boracay has always been a dream vacation to wind down, relax and enjoy the sea breeze. Boracay has often been called the ‘Best Island in the World’ or the ‘World’s Most Beautiful Tropical Island’.

True enough, the shoreline is dotted with beautiful, uncrowded beaches such as Puka and Balinghai Beach.

White Beach however is the main attraction where most of the tourist goes. It is famous for its pristine, white powdery sand and crystal clear blue water of the surrounding sea.
