INDONESIA - Borobudur

Borobudur is the largest Buddhist monument in the world that is located in Central Java, Indonesia. This famous Buddhist temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 9th century during the Syailendra dynasty. It is 42km northwest of Yogyakarta and it is a must-go destination.

We’re staying at Manohara hotel. So there is plenty of time to explore the Borobudur later because it is located inside the Borobudur Park.

Ate dinner here at the hotel and watched a documentary on Borobudur before calling it a night.


We woke up early in the morning to join the Borobudur Sunrise Tour.















Actually the sunrise wasn't as spectacular as I expected that morning.
