The name Jumeirah means beautiful in Arabic. There's plenty to explore in Jumeirah aside from the open beaches including Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Mosque. It is also known for its proximity to Burj Al Arab.
In general, Jumeirah comprises of three areas, Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2 and Jumeirah 3.
Souk Madinat Jumeirah
Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a shopping and dining destination next to the iconic Burj Al Arab. After my breakfast at Burj Al Arab, I just walk over to the souk. It also has four hotels and surrounded by a man-made canal network.
