JAPAN–Takamori

DSCF0812Takamori is a small town in Aso district, Kumamoto Prefecture. You can opt to drop by here before you visit the famous Mount Aso.

DSCF0814The National Railway was constructing a railway here and they found a water resource under the ground while digging a tunnel. So they made it into a park.

DSCF0830Takamori Tanabata Festival is held inside this tunnel every year. Colourful lanterns are displayed inside the tunnel.
