From the Hollywood/HIghland station, I boarded the Metro Red subway line to……
…………Universal City Station.
The Universal City sign greeted me as I walked out from the subway station. Universal City is one of the six major film studios in the United States. There are several attractions located inside the area of Universal City which includes the theme park for Universal Studios Hollywood, CityWalk, Gibson Amphitheatre, Cinemas and Universal’s Studios.
The Universal Studios Hollywood is called "The Entertainment Capital of LA". It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood movie studios still in use.
Keep in mind that the Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk are located on a hill. You can either take a free Universal Studios shuttle bus across the street from the subway station and the bus stop, which directly takes you towards the theme park entrance or you can hike up the hill. The shuttle typically runs between: 7:00a.m.-7:00p.m. When I reached there, it was too late and there was no more shuttle service. So I had to hike up the hill.
After an exhausted walk uphill, I finally arrived at Universal Studios Hollywood.
