PB060146The first thing that comes to my mind if one ask me about the impression of Hiroshima is it is the city where the first atomic bomb was dropped in 1945.

PB060147This the A-bomb dome. It used to be the Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall. It was one of the few buildings that remain standing after the attack. It is also a Unesco World Heritage site.

PB060155The Cenotaph is an arch tomb that commemorates victims who died because of the atomic bomb. Every year on the anniversary of the bomb attack, ceremony is held at the park.
