[MALAYSIA] Family Getaway at Espira Kinrara

If you're looking for a getaway within Klang Valley, you can consider Espira Kinrara, a resort tucked away in the quiet suburbs of Bandar Kinrara. The resort is perfect for a short weekend getaway with family. The swimming pool in front of the villas look really inviting and there is also a small children waterpark with knee-length deep water.

I like the flexibility of the resort that allow guests to book different time slots in a day if they are not considering spending overnight at the resort. For a 3-star hotel, it is value-for-money (starting from RM234 per night) or (starting from RM157.80 per time slot). There are three time slots available: 9am to 4pm, 1pm to 8pm and 4pm to 12.30am. I chose the 1pm to 8pm on Sunday.

It is close to Pavilion Bukit Jalil so we had lunch first around Pavilion Bukit Jalil before checking in to the hotel. 

We also checked out the much-hyped Tsutaya Books at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

After a short 8-minute drive from Pavilion Bukit Jalil, we arrived in Espira Kinrara. We were able to check in right away. The hotel staff was friendly and the check-in process was quick and smooth.

We got the Delima room on the first floor. This is the Standard First-Floor room. It has a queen bed and a single bed. 

If you prefer the swimming pool view, you'll need to pay extra for the Superior room.

We spent some time watching TV and relaxing in the room before heading to the pool. We started swimming around 2pm and we had the pool all to ourselves. 

The swimming pool is opened from 8am to 7pm. Beware that there is no life guard around. So children must be accompanied by adult at all times while in the pool.

The boys had a blast playing at the mini waterpark too. The water buckets would pour down water once they are filled with water.

We checked out around 5.30pm when other guests started showing up at the pool. Overall, I really enjoy the stay at Espira Kinrara. I would consider to come back for another visit in the future.
