RENO, USA
Known as “The Biggest Little City in the World”, Reno is famous for its casinos. It is located in the north-west region of the State of Nevada. It is also the second largest tourist destination in Nevada. From the time gambling was legalised, Reno was the gambling capital of the United States. Till of course the booming period of Las Vegas.Other than gambling, Reno is also famous for getting instant marriages and quickie divorces.
Sands Regency Casino Hotel is where I stayed for the night. It is opened in the early 1970s. The Sands is known for its vibrant exterior colour schemes. It changed its exterior painting over the years and it is now painted in soft gold with red accents.
I stumbled upon this unique bird cage like seat along the road as I was walking towards downtown.

The Silver Legacy Resort & Casino and Eldorado Hotel Casino are located along Virginia Street.
The famous arch over Virginia Street “Reno – The Biggest Little City in the World" lit up in bright neon lights at night. The Reno Arch, an iconic landmark of Reno City, greets me as I enter downtown.
I found some giant gambling chips, hope it’ll bring me some luck tonight.
You do not have to worry about food in Reno.
Do you know that Reno is the birth place of Harrah’s? It was first opened in October 1937.
Delicious hotdog and fries inside the casino. It is the cheapest dinner I can get.
Bought two tickets for Tyzen Persuasion show at Harrah’s. It is unique in mixing adult revue with hypnosis.
Waiting for the show to start. The show was so-so for me because the hypnosis didn’t seem very convincing. But the dancing by the sexy topless girls were indeed entertaining.
You know you are in a casino when the toilet door signs are playing cards.
Eldorado Hotel Casino is connected to Silver Legacy via skywalks.
Circus Circus Hotel Casino’s main attraction is its Circus acts and midway arcade.
The quiet street of Reno. It seems like the biggest little city is struggling with the current economy.
The Silver Legacy Resort & Casino’s 38-storey building and large dome structure redefined the city skyline of Reno since its grand opening in 1995.
Open alcohol containers and drinking alcohol in public are prohibited in the city.
Crossing the Truckee River. The Truckee River Walk is one of the first efforts to attract visitors. Major casinos are also renovating to keep downtown alive and well.

If you are into strip tease and lap dancing, this is the place to be.
After exploring mini Las Vegas, had a drink with my beau in the hotel room and called it a night. All excited about the next morning as I proceed my journey to California.
