[MALAYSIA] Glamping at Dusun Bonda: A Perfect Nature Escape

Nestled amidst lush greenery and serene landscapes, Dusun Bonda is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Dusun Bonda is a hidden gem in Batang Kali that offers an unforgettable glamping experience, combining the tranquility of nature with the comforts of a luxurious stay. 

We started the morning by breakfast at Fiveleaf cafe in Batang Kali (which is now permanently closed).

Next, we dropped by BeeHappy Eco Farm. We bought some honey here and had lunch before heading towards Dusun Bonda.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene ambiance of Dusun Bonda.  We stayed in one of their beautifully designed glamping tents, which was surprisingly spacious and tastefully decorated. 

The tent featured two comfortable queen-sized bed, a private en-suite bathroom with a hot shower, and even fan! Portable air conditioner can be rented for the price of RM 60 (though the night was cool enough without one).

Dusun Bonda offers a range of activities and amenities to make your stay even more enjoyable. There is a beautiful swimming pool and a nearby stream called Hulu Tamu River, perfect for a refreshing dip on a warm day. The boys had a blast swimming in the swimming pool.

Guests can also borrow a bamboo raft to go water rafting in the river.

River swings is a favourite among the children. You can also explore the surrounding area with guided nature walks, discovering hidden waterfalls and exotic flora and fauna. 

The evenings at Dusun Bonda are just as enchanting as the days. We enjoyed a private BBQ dinner (RM 25 per pax) at our balcony. Portable BBQ pit can be rented at RM 18 per night as well if you opt to bring your own food.

Or if you prefer to cook your own food, shared kitchens complete with fridge, water dispenser, microwave, rice cooker, sink and stove is available on-site. Cutleries, plates and cups, pots and pans, cooking woks, knives and cutting board are provided as well.

We walked around the compound after dinner. We even tried grilling our marshmallows at the Bon-fire. 

In the next morning, we enjoyed our breakfast on the balcony, soaking in the tranquility and breathing in the fresh, clean air. We left feeling refreshed and revitalized.
